Background
When Deflo set out to expand its presence in Latin America, the goal was clear: create awareness, build credibility, and drive early adoption among crypto users in one of the fastest-growing crypto regions globally.
To make that happen, Deflo partnered with MOIC Digital to design and execute a data-driven KOL activation campaign, combining strategic KOL selection with operational excellence across key LATAM markets.
Following successful user acquisition and growing regional traction driven by the campaign, Deflo was ultimately acquired by a tier-1 exchange, validating both the product vision and the effectiveness of its market-entry strategy.
Challenge
The Deflo Challenge
Entering a new market is never easy, and for Deflo, the challenge went beyond geographic expansion. The platform itself was entirely new, with new technology, new social channels, and no existing market familiarity. Building trust in LATAM meant not only convincing users to try a new product, but to believe in a brand they were encountering for the first time.
The objective was clear but ambitious: reach a crypto-native audience, generate qualified signups, and drive real transaction volume within a 60-day window.
Success required precise communication on two fronts—aligning KOLs with Deflo’s value proposition and educating the audience on how the platform worked, why it was different, and why it could be trusted.
Through coordinated messaging, hands-on KOL management, and rapid iteration, MOIC delivered results in half the target timeline, proving that execution and clarity can accelerate adoption even in a highly competitive market.
Strategy
MOIC led the entire KOL activation process from research and outreach to performance tracking. Each KOL was selected based on a mix of metrics and contextual alignment: relevance in crypto and finance, engagement quality, and audience authenticity.
We ran the campaign with 13 KOLs, combining creators from different platforms (X/Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok) to maximize reach. Every participant received a brief with clear messaging and creative direction, ensuring consistent storytelling across markets.
All communication was centralized, allowing rapid approvals, direct feedback, and transparent coordination between teams.
Perfomance
High-Impact Content
Educational content formats were the clear winners. Live sessions and Q&A videos drove the highest engagement rates and conversions, while long-form YouTube content proved effective in building credibility and context around Deflo’s product.
Rather than chasing virality, MOIC focused on explaining the value, which resulted in stronger user intent and higher transaction quality.

• New Users Registered: 880 users
• Total Transaction Volume (Spot): $391,485.60 within six week
