Repositioning Rayls as 'The Blockchain for Banks'

The brief

Rayls had a strong product and a large ambition: bring $100 trillion and 6 billion bank customers onchain. Its messaging did not reflect that and sat too close to every other 'RWA blockchain'. Rayls builds for banks, businesses and billions of people, and needed to be seen as infrastructure for the global financial system and as a partner to banks and large institutions.

Starting point

Rayls' messaging was written for crypto-native wallets. The goal was a macro-institutional narrative aimed at banks and their 6 billion customers.

Outcome

'The Blockchain for Banks' became the one-liner, backed by four pillars. It is the line rayls.com leads with.

What we did

  • Narrative sessions with the founding team
  • One-liner and strategic pillars ('The Blockchain for Banks')
  • X bio and messaging
  • Consistent founder voice across tweets, livestreams, decks and interviews
  • Visual and verbal identity aligned to an institutional tone
  • Investor and partner narrative

The approach

Sessions with the founders surfaced the core insight: the opportunity is bringing the real-world economy onchain, through stablecoins, banks and everyday payments. That became a one-liner and four pillars ($100T opportunity, institutional-first design, real-world payment rails, seamless fiat integration), built into every touchpoint. 'Bringing $100 trillion and 6 billion bank customers onchain' became the thesis Rayls is known for.
